When I Google “Women’s Basketball Marketing Ideas”, a few links to stories about clever promotions pop up, but I have to do some real digging to truly compile a list of what’s working to market the women’s game.  This isn’t a new issue, which is why I was part of the team that created the NACMA Online Library a few years ago, which allows NACMA members to see the best practices across college athletics for all sports.

The success of that online resource is what inspired me to create this blog in an effort to build a community of women’s basketball marketers at the college and pro level.  I’m looking forward to seeing what everyone is doing to grow the game so please post comments to get the conversation started.  If you would like to be a guest blogger, please contact me at TracieHitz@gmail.com.
