The offseason is one of my favorite times of the year because I can comb through research to then work on my strategy for the upcoming season. Over the last few years, there have been several changes to the game of Women’s Basketball and we want to continue moving forward with ideas that fit with our overall strategy to grow the game. In order to do this, we need to keep the conversations going with the key stakeholders in the game, which we’ve been doing via the WFF Summit, the WBB Facebook Group, WBB Webinars, this blog, the Mock Selection, presentations, in-person meetings, phone calls, emails and more.
The next webinar will focus on Sponsorship featuring NCAA staff members, Erin Kraebber and Amanda Benzine, who will share their strategies from the sponsor pitch to the onsite activation, as well as speak to the communication efforts between the sales team and the staff that implements the sponsor elements. They will provide best practices not only from working together at the NCAA, but also from their time spent working on campus. If you have questions or comments in advance of the webinar, please send them to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Click here to register for the Sponsorship Webinar that will take place on Wednesday, June 10 from 1 pm – 2 pm Eastern.
The “and more” of the on-going WBB conversations with key stakeholders includes our first WBB Focus Group at the NACMA Convention on Tuesday, June 16 from 2 pm – 3 pm in the Tampa Room of the Marriott hotel. We will chat about the Creative Challenge, First and Second Round marketing changes, in-venue presentation for the Championship and how the NCAA can continue to be a resource for your regular season marketing efforts. Please RSVP to me at email@example.com.
If you are attending the NACMA Convention, but can’t make it to this meeting, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to set up a time to chat while we are in Orlando. If you aren’t attending the NACMA Convention, but would like to provide feedback, please reach out to me via email any time.
Thanks for all you do for the sport of Women’s Basketball!
