WBB Webinar Set For February 17 at 1 pm – Gameday Atmosphere Best Practices and Championship Updates

Thank you to everyone who has been sharing Women’s Basketball best practices over the last year.  We’ve had great interaction on this blog, in the WBBMarketing Facebook Group, at the NACMA Convention, through the Creative Challenge and the quarterly webinars, so we’re looking forward to our next webinar on Tuesday, February 17 from 1 pm – 2 pm.  The webinar will tipoff with updates regarding the 2015 Women’s Basketball Championship, which will include the selection process, Top 16 hosting and marketing plans for the Top 16.  With the new format, there are a few things that will change in hosting the Championship this year, so we’re excited to see how they affect attendance.

You will also hear from the NCAA communications staff, who will provide more tips on social media and public relations strategies for Women’s Basketball.  If you missed the first webinar in November, you can check out the power point and recording featuring marketing, public relations and social media best practices. Or listen/watch to the recording here.

The last half of the webinar will focus on creating a fun game atmosphere for fans of all ages on any budget. NCAA staff member, Amanda Benzine, will lead the discussion using her experience working at Wisconsin, Northern Illinois and the Western Athletic Conference.  Attendees will have the chance to ask questions during the webinar, but you can also submit questions in advance via email to me at thitz@ncaa.org or via Twitter @TracieHitz
