Creative Challenge Entries Due January 2; Where Do You Rank in WBB Attendance So Far?

The end of the year is a great time to reflect on what we’ve accomplished, personally and professionally, so we can adjust our plan heading into the new year.  This timing is perfect for marketing Women’s Basketball because we can use the nonconference season results to guide us during the conference season.  So far this year, we’ve had four “It’s The Creative Challenge” winners who will receive donations to their Women’s Basketball Marketing budgets.

October:
Best Poster: Marquette Women’s Basketball
Wildcard: Cal Women’s Basketball Team Website

November:
Best Video: Baylor Women’s Basketball
Wildcard: Oklahoma Sherri Coale’s 400th Win

We also have several more chances to win this season. Right now, we are accepting entries for the “Best Holiday Promotion”.  This doesn’t have to be a holiday-themed promotion, it can just be a cool promotion you ran this month too.  We’re just looking for that creativity!   You can submit your entries for “Best Holiday Promotion” to Erin at evarley@ncaa.org until January 2nd and the voting will begin in the WBB Marketing Facebook group on January 5.

Speaking of reflecting and attendance … let’s check out the latest attendance report.  With several Field Trip/Education Day games this month, we’ve seen some great numbers so far this season.  Hopefully, these kids will keep coming back to your games in 2015.  Comment below or tweet @TracieHitz to share what you’re doing to get these kids back to the arena.
